About: Sue Shockley
Sue has lived a life exploring her dreams with the drive of an entrepreneur underneath it all. Always wanting to bring others along with her as soon as she could attain a new goal, she sets out now to share the hard-won secrets of her success hoping to help others have an easier journey.
Intensely interested in the interaction of mind and body, she worked her way through college, starting at the heart of medical research as an assistant for a top research doctor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and studying biology at Penn. After enjoying the benefits of being a biology major in a big city school, she expanded her educational and life experience in a small college atmoshere in Vermont continuing biology and completing a degree in physiological psychology. After graduation she continued her studies with a focus on nutrition, landing her “dream” job working half time setting up community nutrition education programs, with the other half working individually with patients in the medical clinic.
While still in college in Vermont, she started her first business, raising sheep, designing sweaters which she had many local ladies help knit around the year, and doing large craft shows in New England. Her first big show in Boston, led to an invitation to appear live on a segment of WBZ TV’s noontime news show for women, to explain how she developed her sheep to sweater business and show the designs.
Ten years later she expanded her horizons in Colorado, using her abilities to write educational programs for a private college, while she helped friends develop a few more interesting small businesses and bring them into the profit zone. She was interviewed two more times on TV, because of her involvement with interesting projects. After meeting husband and long-time Realtor, Ward Barcafer, she enjoyed a busy real estate career, also developing the mortgage side of business for both their benefit. “The personal and professional growth I experienced as a Realtor was tremendous-I loved listing property and the challenge of good contract writing. Helping people with their largest purchase was always exciting, and helping them understand the mortgage arena put power in their hands.” “But, at some point my desire to have my own business again grew too great. and I started exploring how to move into another design business.” She launched a regional wholesale jewelry business of her own achieving financial success in the first year, with only $2500 in startup funds, and went on to design her own successful antique reproduction jewelry line that found its way to shops in 14 states.
But she says “Things really started to move when I studied the Law of Attraction. Finally I could put an end to the 7 day work week and start to live a more normal life, overcome illness, and start to realize my dream of spending happy days putting it all on paper. “My recent experience with serious illness has led me to explore the incredible energy healing called EFT. We all have resistance to the things we think we want in life. Eft is a wonderful tool to help break down the barriers that have been nuilt since we were little to achieveing what we set out to do. I will begin a journal soon to share the story of the illness, and how it is being healed with the help of a very talented EFT practitioner”
Every day now, I am committed to helping people understand that things don’t have to be so hard. They can build better businesses, overcome financial problems, enjoy better health, and live it all in a happier state. We have a lot of answers now, and we need to get the word out to everyone. With a little support, and the right information, people can live their dreams. I really believe that.”

Hello Sue,
Your picture looks much better here than on the Boundless Living Challenge!
I want to develop a Design Kit for children, and I am now ready to start working on it, together with the other goals I have. I am eager to learn about your ideas for children programs.
Have a lovely day, Ada
Welcome to my site Ada,
I would love to brainstorm with you around your own ideas, to support you as you develop your business. But, when you mentioned a design program for children, I thought maybe you might like to use some of the ideas that came to me a while ago, all about puppets. I will email you my ideas, I am not ready to give them to the whole world yet, but think you may be one of the people that I received this information for. I don’t like to sound so mystereous, but since I started asking the universe for ideas a year or so ago, I started receiving several business ideas a week, and some of these ideas must be at least in part, for other people- I could never develop all these businesses myself. So I would like to share them with others, and really would like to document the development of the projects, and write about them. I just finished a six-month high powered program to learn to put everything on the internet. So look for my email, feel free to chat with me here on my site, or by email for the things you want to discuss in confidence, or on the Challenge site for things you want more open discussion around. Talk to you soon!
